1. Lesson Format
- All lessons are conducted online.
- Each lesson lasts 50 minutes.
- Lessons are provided as 100% private one-on-one sessions.
- Lessons are conducted primarily in Japanese, with English support available when necessary.
2. Booking Lessons
- Lessons must be booked in advance through our reservation system.
- Please ensure that you select a time that suits your schedule.
- A confirmation email will be sent once your booking is completed.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling
- Lessons may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time at no additional charge.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the lesson may be considered a completed lesson and are generally non-refundable.
- In the event of an emergency, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your situation.
4. Trial Lesson Policy
- The trial lesson is available once per student.
- Trial lessons are intended to assess your level, discuss your goals, and introduce JapaGaku’s teaching style.
- Trial lesson fees are non-refundable once the lesson has been completed.
5. Homework and Mini Quizzes
- Homework assignments and mini quizzes are available upon request.
- These activities are designed to reinforce learning and help students monitor their progress.
- Students are encouraged, but not required, to complete assigned work.
6. Learning Materials
- JapaGaku provides original learning materials free of charge.
- Materials are intended solely for personal educational use.
- Redistribution, reproduction, or commercial use of these materials without permission is prohibited.
7. Technical Requirements
To ensure a smooth learning experience, students should prepare:
- A stable internet connection
- A computer, tablet, or smartphone
- A working microphone and camera
- A quiet learning environment
JapaGaku is not responsible for lesson interruptions caused by a student’s technical difficulties.
8. Respectful Learning Environment
JapaGaku is committed to creating a safe and respectful environment.
Students are expected to:
- Treat the teacher with courtesy and respect.
- Avoid inappropriate, offensive, or disruptive behavior.
- Communicate honestly and professionally.
JapaGaku reserves the right to refuse or discontinue lessons in cases of harassment, abusive conduct, or repeated violations of these policies.
9. Refund Policy
- Unused lesson credits may be eligible for refunds in accordance with JapaGaku’s Refund Policy.
- Completed lessons, including trial lessons, are generally non-refundable.
- Refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
